HOW LONG DOES A SHADE SAIL LAST ?
The fabric warranted for 12 years against UV degradation.
The most important factor in determining how long the sail will last is how well it is installed.

HOW TO MEASURE ?
The Points of attachment must be installed before measuring. This means the poles with the eyebolts fitted must be installed or the wall brackets must be fitted.
For a simple three point triangle shade sail you simply need to take the point-to-point measurements between each attachment point.
Don’t make any allowances for turnbuckles or chain. We will do this using the computer. Your job is to measure point-to-point.
Before committing, always measure twice to make sure, and if possible, measure from opposite ends. If your measurements don’t match, start again!
Slope Your Shade Sail
This is to ensure that the sail does not trap water. Setting a minimum slope of 15 degrees is ideal. Two corners are required to be at high points and two corners at low points. (A triangular shaped Sail will require one higher fixing point, square or rectangular shaped Sail will require two higher and two lower fixing points).
HOW TO MAINTAIN THE SHADE SAIL ?
We recommend to clean the shade fabric with mild dish washing liquid and water. When you don`t need your shade sail, take it down. This will help prolong its life.
FOR WINTER DO WE HAVE TO TAKE OFF THE SHADES ?
We recommend that, on the announcement of any destructive storm events in your region, the sails or shades be temporarily removed until the event is over.
SHOULD I BUY A CHEAP SHADE SAIL ?
If the shade sail is cheap will not give you UV protection like our Shade Sail. Imagine if you are sitting outside with your family and with children under a cheap shade sail and you are expecting it to be protecting you from harmful UV rays. This is dangerous. Cheap shade sail can break easily.
Not only along the sewing or the material can break,it can break also in the fixing points which are again very dangerous.
Cheap shade sail cloth is also more likely to fray, shrink and fade.
